All timber is sourced from FSC-certified sustainable forests, ensuring traceable origins while respecting the natural cycles of forests and giving every tree a meaningful second life.

在制造过程中，我们坚持环保用材，冰晶大板采用环保环氧树脂浇灌；涂装则依据不同木材特性，选用德国进口SAICOS植物木蜡油及自主研发水性漆体系，在保留天然纹理与触感的同时，实现低醛环保，并兼具耐磨、耐水、耐高温等稳定表现。

Throughout the manufacturing process, WOOD SLABS remains committed to environmentally responsible materials. For Ice Crystal slabs, we use eco-friendly epoxy resin for the filling process. For surface finishing, we select SAICOS plant-based wood wax oil imported from Germany and our independently developed water-based coating system according to the characteristics of different wood species. While preserving the natural grain and tactile quality of the wood, these finishes deliver low-formaldehyde, environmentally conscious performance, together with excellent resistance to wear, water, and high temperatures.

The cracks shaped by wind and rain, the rings formed through the passage of time, the naturally occurring knots, mineral lines, and organic edges — these seemingly irregular traces record decades, even centuries, of a tree’s life, giving every wood slab its own distinctive character.

When we encounter a piece of wood, our first step is not to design, but to observe — observing how the grain unfolds, how the contours grow, and where light naturally settles. Our craftsmen seek inspiration from the original form of each piece, understanding its unique proportions, textures, and traces of life, and transforming nature’s own language into a design expression within the space.

Therefore, we respect the direction of every grain and preserve every mark left by nature. We do not intentionally conceal cracks, nor rush to remove natural imperfections. We do not alter the original silhouette of the tree, nor pursue an artificial sense of absolute perfection.
