时隔半年，朽木传奇再次携当季新品，与大家相见。我们将以「自然入境」为主题，先后亮相第三十一届中国国际家具展览会与摩登上海设计周，带来八件当季新品。9月7日，第三十一届中国国际家具展览会率先启幕；9月8日，摩登上海设计周随后展开。两场展会，围绕同一主题徐徐展开，让自然进入空间，让设计回到生活。

Six months on,WOOD SLABS returns with a new collection for the season, ready to meet you once again.Under the theme“Nature Enters the Space,”we will unveil eight new pieces across the 31st China International Furniture Fair (Shanghai) and Design Shanghai. The 31st China International Furniture Fair opens first on September 7, followed by Design Shanghai on September 8.Across both exhibitions, the same theme unfolds in different ways—bringing nature into the space, and bringing design back to everyday life.

Nine New Creations
Nature Takes Form

此次展会呈现的贝壳杉大板，取自一批历经43500余年自然沉埋的远古木材，并融入银河工艺完成创作。贝壳杉是新西兰特有树种，原木自然死亡后沉入远古泥炭沼泽，在特定的自然环境与漫长地质变迁中得以保存。跨越四万余年，它依然保有完整的木质结构与清晰的天然纹理，更为难得的是，与多数远古沉埋木深沉的黑色不同，这批贝壳杉依旧保留着温润灿然的金色光泽。

The Kauri slab presented at this exhibition comes from ancient timber naturally buried for more than 43,500 years, brought to life through our Galaxy inlay technique. Native to New Zealand, Kauri was naturally preserved after sinking into ancient peat swamps, through specific environmental conditions and millennia of geological change. After more than 40,000 years, it still retains its original structure and clear natural grain. More remarkably, unlike the deep, dark tones of most ancient buried wood, this Kauri preserves a warm, radiant golden hue.

它像一座可以开合的小建筑，静立于空间之中。两扇柜门取自同一枚天然大板，以对开形式呈现，使木纹在左右之间自然延续、尽可能形成呼应与对称。合上柜门，门板以柔和流畅的弧度收束，形成克制而优美的立面；打开之后，柜体内部展开为一处温暖、私享的收藏空间：茶器、酒器、艺术摆件与日常珍藏皆可从容安放、自在展示。未来可依据使用需求，在柜体内整合冷藏功能，延展为兼具展示、备饮与冷藏功能的MiniBar，适用于会客空间及更具仪式感的生活场景。

Like a small architectural form that opens and closes, it stands quietly within the space. The two cabinet doors are crafted from a single natural wood slab and open symmetrically, allowing the grain to flow naturally from one side to the other. When closed, the doors curve gently into a refined, understated façade; when opened, the cabinet reveals a warm and private space for collecting and displaying tea ware, barware, art objects, and cherished belongings. In the future, integrated refrigeration can be added according to specific needs, transforming it into a versatile MiniBar that combines display, beverage preparation, and cooling for entertaining spaces and more ceremonial moments of living.

根生桌从树的枝干与根系中获得形态启发，将树木向上伸展的主干、向下扎入土地的根系加以抽象和凝练，使桌腿呈现出近似雕塑的结构，在稳稳承托大板桌面的同时，也保留着生命生长的舒展与力量。本次展出的根生桌搭配直径1.58米的圆形大板，圆形桌面消解了方向与座次的主次，让围坐、交谈与相聚自然发生。未来，根生桌腿还将尝试冰晶、金属等不同材质及其组合，让同一种生长形态在通透、冷峻与温润的质感之间，延展出更多表达。

The Root-Grown Table draws inspiration from the branches and roots of a tree, abstracting the upward-reaching trunk and downward-spreading roots into a sculptural base. It provides stable support for the slab top while retaining the organic movement and strength of natural growth. The exhibition piece features a 1.58-meter-diameter round slab, whose circular form removes hierarchy in seating and naturally encourages conversation and gathering. In the future, the base will explore materials such as crystal resin and metal, bringing new expressions to the same organic form through contrasting textures.

爪哇双人椅延续自既有的爪哇椅单人版，是这一设计语言向双人尺度的自然延展。作品汲取印度尼西亚传统家具厚重内敛的气质，以柚木塑造沉稳、拙朴而敦厚的形态，简洁轮廓可融入不同调性空间，也适配多种尺寸与形态的大板桌。椅腿如爪钩般稳固抓地，35厘米座高让双腿自然垂落，搭配灵活软包，为身体提供舒适承托。从单人到双人，改变的不只是尺度，更拓展了人与空间相处的方式，并由此延展出更完整的大板坐席系统，让围坐、交谈与停留拥有更多可能。

The Java Double Chair evolves from the original single-seat Java Chair, naturally extending its design language to a two-person scale. Inspired by the substantial, understated character of traditional Indonesian furniture, it is crafted in teak with a calm, rustic, and grounded form. Its clean silhouette adapts to different interiors and complements slab tables in various sizes and forms. Hook-like legs provide a firm stance, while the 35 cm seat height allows the legs to rest naturally, with flexible upholstery offering comfortable support. From single to double, the design expands beyond scale, creating new ways to interact with space and contributing to a more complete slab seating system for gathering, conversation, and lingering.

势足桌腿从书法运笔的顿挫与走势中获得灵感，以一侧舒展、一侧收束的不对称结构，形成沉稳而富有张力的形态。选用北美白蜡木打造，经深烟熏处理，更显内敛凝重，而桌腿支撑面上的镂空如笔势间的留白，在厚重体量中引入轻盈与呼吸感。扎实的用料与宽阔的支撑结构，使其能够稳稳承托4米至6米的大尺寸大板桌。本次展出中，势足桌腿与新西兰远古贝壳杉相结合，以深沉有力的基座，托起一段跨越四万余年的自然时间。

Inspired by the rhythm of calligraphic brushwork, the Steadfast Table Legs combine an asymmetrical structure—open on one side, gathered on the other—with a grounded yet dynamic presence. Crafted from deeply fumed North American ash, their openwork details introduce lightness into the substantial form. With generous material and a broad base, they securely support slab tables from 4 to 6 meters long.In this exhibition, the Steadfast Table Legs are paired with ancient New Zealand kauri, their deep, powerful base supporting a piece of nature shaped over more than 40,000 years.

回弦桌腿以连续的U形曲线为基本结构，多重轮廓彼此嵌套、往复延展，如弦音拨动后层层回荡的余韵，由此得名「回弦」。向内收拢的线条与向外展开的支点彼此牵引，在虚实相间的结构中，形成轻盈而稳定的承托。本次展出的回弦桌腿以深烟熏色白蜡木打造，沉静的色泽进一步强化了回环结构的层次与力量。未来，回弦桌腿也将继续探索大漆、冰晶、银河等不同材质与工艺，让同一种回环形态，在色泽、通透与触感的变化中，呈现更多面貌。

The Returning Arc Table Legs feature a continuous U-shaped structure, with layered contours flowing back and forth like the lingering resonance of a plucked string—hence the name “Returning Arc.” Inward-curving lines and outward supports create a form that is both light and stable. The exhibition piece is crafted from deep-smoked ash, enhancing the depth and strength of its looping structure. Future versions will explore lacquer, crystal resin, and Galaxy craftsmanship, bringing new expressions through variations in color, translucency, and texture.

鸿渐桌腿引入仿生设计的概念，从飞鸟起落与振翼的姿态中提取形态，将舒展的双翼、向上收拢的弧线，凝练为具有雕塑感的支撑结构。中部的水滴形留白减轻了视觉体量，也让光线穿行其间，使桌腿在不同视角下呈现出蓄势将起的动态。“渐”，是飞鸟起落之间舒缓而有序的过程，也暗含力量逐渐聚拢、继而舒展的状态。本次展出的鸿渐桌腿高65厘米，以深烟熏白蜡木打造，在稳稳承托大板的同时，以轻盈向上的形态消解桌面的厚重感。

The Rising Swan Table Legs draw on biomimetic design, taking inspiration from the movement of birds in flight. Outstretched wings and upward-curving lines are distilled into a sculptural support structure, while the teardrop-shaped opening at the center reduces visual weight and allows light to pass through, giving the form a sense of motion from different angles. “Jian” evokes the gentle, measured rhythm of a bird taking flight and landing, as well as the gradual gathering and release of energy. Standing 65 cm high, the exhibition piece is crafted from deep-smoked ash, providing solid support while its light, upward-reaching form balances the weight of the slab top.

鸿渐柜延续「鸿渐」系列的仿生设计语言，将飞鸟振翼、起落的姿态转化为柜体下方的支撑结构。向上收拢的弧线与翼状留白，使厚实的柜体仿佛被轻轻托起，在沉稳体量中保留一份向上的轻盈。柜体材质选用法国白橡木，并以化变工艺呈现深沉内敛的色泽；桌腿则以深烟熏白蜡木打造。上部开放陈列，下部封闭收纳，让展示与藏纳各得其所。飞鸟的意象不止于装饰，而是进入家具的结构与功能，让厚重与轻盈、收拢与舒展，在日常使用中自然呈现。

The Rising Swan Cabinet continues the biomimetic language of the “Rising Swan” series, translating the movement of birds in flight into its sculptural supporting structure. Upward-curving lines and wing-like openings make the substantial cabinet appear gently lifted, balancing its solid presence with a sense of lightness. The cabinet is crafted from French white oak with a deep, understated finish created through chemical transformation, paired with deep-smoked ash legs. Open display above and enclosed storage below create a thoughtful balance between showing and concealing, allowing the imagery of flight to become part of both the cabinet’s structure and everyday function.

它由南美雨木打造，全部木料取自同一块天然原木，将木材剖分为一条条细长木片，再以隐形木榫逐一衔接，木纹因此得以连续延展，自中心向两侧舒展，形成近乎镜像的自然画面，每一根细条既彼此独立，又共同保留着同一枚木材的生长脉络。两端顺应原木的自然边缘缓缓收束，如同一双展开的羽翼，轻盈、柔软，却蕴含木材本身的力量。它既划分空间，也让空间保持通透；既是一面屏风，也是一件由木纹、结构与光影共同完成的艺术作品。

Crafted from South American rainwood, the screen is made entirely from a single natural log. The wood is split into slender strips and joined one by one with concealed wooden joints, allowing the grain to flow continuously from the center outward in an almost mirrored composition. Each strip remains distinct while preserving the growth pattern of the original log. The ends gently taper along the log’s natural edges, like outstretched wings—light and fluid, yet full of the wood’s inherent strength. It defines space while maintaining openness, serving not only as a screen, but also as an artistic expression shaped by grain, structure, and light.

From ancient timber that has lain dormant for more than 43,500 years to roots, branches, and birds in flight, eight new seasonal pieces draw inspiration from nature and time. Through varied materials, structures, and scales, they explore new ways for furniture to inhabit space and everyday life.

我们希望带来的，不只是新的原木家具，更是一种关于空间与生活的想象：自然并未远离，它可以穿过时间，被材料保存，被设计重新理解，最终进入我们坐下、相聚、饮茶与小酌的每一个寻常时刻。这个九月，诚邀你来到上海，在真实的尺度、触感与光影中，近距离感受九件当季新品，与我们一同走进自然与生活相遇的现场。

What we hope to present is more than new solid-wood furniture. It is an imagination of space and living: nature is never truly distant.
