02.Logistics services
We use domestic dedicated logistics, SF Express, or private vehicles to provide you with more reliable service. ※Logistics and private vehicles deliver to county/city-level areas and default to drop-off at the building entrance (Note: No upstairs delivery).
※Regarding delivery upstairs, logistics companies do not provide this service, and an additional fee is required. Elevator buildings and stair-only buildings have different fee structures. If large items exceed the capacity of elevators or stairs, crane services may be needed. Specific fees will be negotiated and agreed upon with local movers.
※Regarding installation, logistics companies do not provide this service, and an additional installation fee is required. xiumu are crafted with equal attention to both sides, making them usable on either side. The slab can be placed directly on the stand without the need for screws. If special processing or screw installation is required, please communicate with customer service before placing your order.
03.Packaging services
The inner layer uses pearl cotton and thickened bubble wrap to protect the product, while the outer packaging is made of 7-layer recyclable corrugated cardboard, ensuring sturdy support while reducing carbon emissions. Our packaging safety standards are twice the industry average, minimizing product safety risks and significantly reducing post-sale issues with slabs.
04.Life service
Warranty and Maintenance Service
Within 1 year, if there are quality issues, we will provide 1 on-site repair and maintenance service, calculated from the date of acceptance. Free maintenance covers natural phenomena excluding human-caused damage, such as cracking, warping, mold, or insect infestation.

Factory Re-processing Service
In cases of significant cracking, warping, or impact damage, you can decide whether to return the product to the factory for re-processing. We provide lifelong factory re-processing services. For details, please consult us. We are always ready to process your slabs—whether the overall layout no longer fits,
you no longer need a large table, or you want to cut the slab to your preferred length and process it for a new purpose.

About Re-sanding and Re-coating
⑴. Sanding
Based on the current condition of the slab, sanding is divided into the following two methods:
①Minor scratches on the slab surface:First, wipe the furniture with a cloth to remove surface dust,If there are burrs or uneven areas on the surface, lightly sand with 600-grit sandpaper.
②Severe stains or scratches on the slab surface:Start with 320-grit sandpaper to remove most stains and surface marks (note: this cannot remove burn marks or carving knife marks)。Next, use 400-grit sandpaper to smooth out the marks left by the 320-grit sandpaper.
Finally, use 600-grit sandpaper to smooth out the marks left by the 400-grit sandpaper.
◇Note: Sand along the wood grain. After sanding, wipe the surface clean with a cloth.
⑵. Applying Wood Wax Oil
After sanding, the surface may appear uneven, but this is normal. After wiping away the dust, begin maintenance with wood wax oil.Use a lint-free cotton cloth to apply the wood wax oil evenly along the wood grain.
Start by wiping the edges and sides, then move to the center, paying special attention to the wood end grain.(Maintenance with wood wax oil once or twice a year is sufficient.)
⑶. Drying
Allow 1~2 minutes for the surface layer of wood wax oil to partially dry.Before it fully dries, use a lint-free dry cotton cloth to wipe off any excess wood wax oil.Surface drying takes about 3 hours, while complete internal drying takes 72 hours.
⑷. Finishing
Once fully dry, you can optionally sand again with 1000-grit sandpaper and apply a small amount of wood wax oil for an excellent finish!
05.Return and exchange service
⑴. Please confirm your purchase carefully before proceeding.
Natural characteristics of the product (e.g., knots, tree holes, dry cracks) are inherent features of solid wood slabs and do not qualify as quality issues. We do not accept returns for these reasons.We do not accept returns due to differences in "images,"
、"color," "wood grain preference," "size not fitting the room," "smell," or "feel."。 Therefore, please ensure your satisfaction before payment. No returns or exchanges are accepted for non-quality-related issues.
⑵. Quality-Related Issues: Contact Customer Service on the Day of Receipt
For minor quality issues (e.g., dents, scratches), our professional after-sales team will promptly resolve the issue and provide a small gift as compensation.
For major quality issues (e.g., cracking, warping), we will offer free factory repair or replacement services.
⑶. Return or Exchange Requests Within 7 Days
Contact Legend of Decayed Wood's official team and follow the provided return/exchange procedures.The returned/exchanged item must be confirmed by our team before shipping it back to the designated address.
If the product has no quality issues and the buyer requests a return, the buyer must cover the round-trip shipping costs. A refund will be issued only after the returned product is confirmed to have no quality issues.
If damage is found upon inspection, the buyer will bear the cost of the damage.
⑷. Custom-Made Product Return/Exchange Rules Custom-made products cannot be returned or exchanged once the order is confirmed and production begins.
If a return or exchange is insisted upon, 50% of the order amount will be charged as a customization fee.
⑸. No Returns or Exchanges for Discounted Items
Discounted items are sold at cost price and are not eligible for return or exchange services after purchase.
※Due to the unique nature of solid wood slab tables, there may be a 0.5-1 cm margin of error in dimensions. All measurements are based on the maximum distance of the actual product. The data provided in the illustrations is for reference only, and the actual product shall prevail. Slight variations are within the normal range, and we appreciate your understanding.
※For returns, exchanges, or refunds, a 10% fee of the order amount will be charged.
06.Free warehousing service
xiumu offers a 30-day free storage period. If the customer is unable to arrange pickup after the free storage period, a fee of 0.5% of the order amount per day will be charged. If pickup is not arranged within 60 days, xiumu reserves the right to dispose of all items in the order.
